Directions to Kirby House

From Schuylkill Haven:

Rt. 61 north, to I-81 north, to I-80 East, to Route 309 north towards Mountaintop.  Turn east (right) on Crestwood Road at the Crestwood Industrial Park (MacDonalds) and continue until you pass the Glen Summit Water Company and the railroad tracks to the intersection of Route 437.  Turn left (north).  Then bear right almost immediately on the first side road – Glen Summit Spur -(there is a Kirby Episcopal House sign indicating that turn).  When in Glen Summit, the road curves to the left of the Glen Summit sign and crosses the bridge over what used to be the railroad tracks.    You will pass the large brown function room called the Casino on your left and the Chapel on your right.  Sunset Road is the last left turn before you reach the Glen Summit Tennis Courts.  There is a WATCH CHILDREN sign on the right side of the road just before the left turn onto Sunset.  ContinueVERY SLOWLY up Sunset Road until you see the stone wall and gates to Kirby House.

From the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike/I-80:

Take the Northeast Extension to the Exit for I-80.  Follow signs for I-80 West.  Travel I-80 west to the White Haven Exit.  At the exit, travel Route 437 north towards Mountaintop.  Just beyond the Glen Summit Water Company bear right into Glen Summit at the Kirby Episcopal House sign onto Glen Summit Spur. Directions to The Presbyterian Church of Mountaintop

From Schuylkill Haven:

Rt. 61 north, to I-81 north, to I-80 East, to Route 309 north into Mountaintop.  At the Rite Aid Drugstore, turn right onto Kirby Avenue.  Immediately behind Rite Aid, turn left onto North Main and travel to the intersection of Chestnut Street.  Turn right onto Chestnut.  Church is on the right.  Parking lot behind the church and across the street from the church.

From the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike/I-80:

From Kirby House:

Return to Route 437, turn right and follow Rt. 437 north to the intersection of Kirby Avenue.  Turn left onto Kirby Avenue.  At the intersection of North Main Street turn right.  This intersection is before you intersect with Rt. 309 and behind the Rite Aid Drugstore.  Follow North Main to the intersection of Chestnut Street.  Turn right onto Chestnut.  Church is on the right.  Parking lot is behind the church and also across the street from the church.
